Below is a letter from Myra Robinson, president of Soul Survivors, about four-year-old Loralai’s birthday wish list. Loralai has ETANTR, a rare form of brain cancer with no chance of survival. ZBPF recently helped Loralai celebrate her fourth birthday at her princess-themed party. Keegan Gerhard, ZBPF board member and owner of Denver’s D Bar, made special princess cupcakes for Loralai and guests.
I appreciate you reaching out to me this morning about Loralai. We are feverishly working on making the little time she has left, the happiest days for her and her family.
In speaking to mom yesterday afternoon, this wish list consists of the following:
- Gas cards-her brain is bleeding due to the cancer and they have to take her to Children’s every couple of days to manage it.
- Loralai has special dietary restrictions so gift cards to Sprouts are helpful.
- Essentials such as toilet paper, shampoos, conditioners
I received a total of $1,500 in donations which I’ve been asked to spend 100% on Loralai. Some of this money went towards her birthday party and will be spent on toys for Christmas. I also want to ask her mom if we can get her some things like tickets for a play like the Nutcracker. Her mom, Chantle Guiterriez and grandparents are pretty overwhelmed right now so I’m taking some of the initiative knowing they’ve got so much more to deal with.
Soul Survivors is a 501c3 whose mission is to “Empower survivors and their loved ones by offering personalized, caring support during their journey.” Our EIN Number is 47-1386219. Anything that is donated for Loralai will be for Loralai as requested.

Anything that is donated will be followed up with a receipt on our letterhead, along with our EIN number for tax write offs. I’ve also included our determination letter.
